Caitlyn Grabenstein has been working in music since 2008. She came up with the idea for BANDADE in 2014 after a good friend passed away from cancer. BANDADE was originally created to solely raise money for cancer charities. However, over the years, BANDADE has developed into its own company (still charitable) and brand. Caitlyn has worked with countless musicians, managers, and booking agents to create a community of artists who have participated in BANDADE. Participating artists have included the Goo Goo Dolls, Ingrid Michaelson, Iron & Wine, Nikki Lane, Matt Hires, Taking Back Sunday, Alabama Shakes, Judah and the Lion, Florence Welch, and countless others. Caitlyn is in charge of the booking, management, creative, and social aspects of BANDADE. Caitlyn has previously worked at Broadcast Music, Inc. in Nashville, TN, in copyright infringement. She worked at various music venues including Wolf Trap and the Tally Ho. She has also performed folk music herself, in public, for years.
Nick Gallardo has been working in hospitality and events since 2010. Nick has managed events for people such as Vince Gill, Amy Grant, and Nikki Lane. Nick joined the BANDADE Team in 2015, with a background in criminal justice. Nick manages the execution of all BANDADE events. Nick moved from Nashville, TN to Philadelphia in early 2016.
